Children's Museum

At the Children's Museum Kayley painted a house, went grocery shopping, and ran through the noodle maze.

What a Whirlwind!

Time always goes by waaay too fast when my sister and the girls come to visit.... this time they stayed for twelve days, flying into Phoenix on Easter Sunday. We went and visited friends from Iowa who now live in San Clemente, CA, over the weekend as well as played at the Children's Museum and Pump It Up (inflatables). It was even warm enough to spend some time in our pool. :) Kayley is two years old now and Halle just turned 4 months.

12 Week Ultrasound

Here are some of our pics of our 12 week ultrasound on April 10th. The baby started out on its tummy, then we saw it flip over onto its back all in the few short minutes! Then the baby started moving its arms and legs around! So fun to see!! Not a surprise that the baby was pretty active! haha.... :) Click on the pictures to see Baby Grant up close--- 167 beats per minute was the heartbeat.

12 weeks... wow!

It is hard to believe that our baby is already 12 weeks old! Luckily, my pregnancy has been fairly uneventful so far.... a few bits of nausea at the beginning but mainly just tired- no morning sickness or other issues. :) here is my 'mini bump' at 12 weeks....

First Doctor's Appointment

We had our first appointment with our doctor on March 13th to confirm the pregnancy and got to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time!!! AMAZING!!! Our doctor is Dr. Allan Sawyer, who we love- love!! He told us our due date for Baby Grant is October 21st!

Happy Valentine's Day.... We're Expecting!!

Jason and I found out on Valentine's Day that we are expecting our first baby!! It was soo hard to keep a secret, especially since Linda, my mother in law, was visiting! I presented Jason with a present during the day, which he thought was a present for Valentine's Day, but was surprised when he opened one pink and one blue bib that said "I love my Daddy" and a Baby Names Book.:)
